Reading Old Women’s Poetry and Life － Reading 『시가 뭐고?』, 『콩이나 쪼매 심고 놀지머』, 『우리가 글을 몰랐지 인생을 몰랐나』

이 글은 칠곡과 순천에서 진행된 노년 여성들의 한글 수업과 시 쓰기(그림 그리기)수업 결과 물인 시집 세 권을 다루었다. 『시가 뭐고? 』, 『콩이나 쪼매 심고 놀지 머』, 『우리가 글을 몰랐지 인생을 몰랐나』는 글을 몰랐던 노년 여성들의 자기서 사를 만나게 한다. 세 권의 시집에서는 개인적, 역사적 고통을 견디고 다양한 노동을 통해 자신과 타인을 돌본 노년 여성들의 자존을 보여 준다. 시집은 개인의 삶을 읽는 것, 그리고 그 삶을 듣는 태도를 고민하게 한다. 자기서 사가 상품화되는 요즈음, 시간과 노력을 들여 타인에게 언어를 부여하고 그의 이야기를 발굴하는 것, 상대방을 낭만화하거나 평가하지 않는 독자의 태도를 고민하게 한다는 점에서 이 세 권의 시집을 의미있게 읽을 수 있다.

This article deals with three volumes of poetry, the result of Korean classes and poetry writing(drawing) classes for elderly women in Chilgok and Suncheon. These books makes them meet their own narratives of elderly women who did not know the words. Readers could find the pride of elderly women who endured personal and historical pain and took care of themselves and others through various labor. And These books make you think about reading an individual's life and listening to it. They can be read meaningfully in that they take time and effort to give language to others, discover their stories, and contemplate the reader’s attitude not to romanticize or evaluate the other person.
