The purpose of this study was to examine the influence of Mega Event(F1 2010 Korean Grand Prix) on the Residents' Quality of Life and to explore determinants which have an effect on residents' perception of Mega-event impacts. This study investigated the Event and Quality of life(QOL) measurement. The following are the findings achieved by empirical analysis. First, five impact factors were identified through factor analysis, which are 'social-economics, environment', 'stabilized living environment', 'cultural environment, 'natural environment', 'living infra environment'. QOL indices influenced by Mega Event reveal that F1 venue residents perceived F1 2010 Korean Grand Prix had positive impacts on all of five QOL factors. Given that none of empirical research on mega-event impacts on residents' quality of life and the importance of residents' support. These findings of study can suggest how to improve residents' quality of life and ensure long-term success of mega-events to event organizer or local government. However, there are several limitation regarding genuine aspect of the QOL scale.
