“Young” Christans living with “Young” Jesus: A Study on the identity and the role of young disciple base on 15th Ordinary General Assembly of the Synod of Bishops

본고는 가톨릭청년성서 모임 50주년을 맞이하여 청년성서모임의 중심인 청년 그리스도인의 신원과 역할을 제15차 세계주교대의원회의 관련 문헌을 중심으로 살펴보고자 한다. 시노드를 통해 보편 교회는 현대시대를 살아가는 청년 그리스도인의 신원과 역할을 재확인 하며, 청년이 성덕의 부르심에 응답하고 자신에게 주어진 성소를 살도록 용기와 응원을 주고자 하였다. 본고는 세 부분으로 나누어 살펴보게 된다. 첫 번째, 먼저 오늘을 살아가는 청년의 현실을 분석하였다. 두 번째, 교회문헌, 특별히 제15차세계주교대의원회의 문헌을 중심으로 청년 그리스도인의 신원과 역할을 정리하였다. 그리고 마지막으로 가톨릭청년성서모임이 새로운 50년을 준비하도록 앞으로 나아가야할 방향을 앞선 연구 결과를 중심으로 제안하였다.

This article aims to find out the identity and role of young lay people, on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Catholic Youth Bible Society. And this is to focus on Church documents of the XV Ordinary General Assembly of the Synod of Bishops. The Synod tried to find the identity and the role of young lay people today to encourage response to the calling of holiness and living their vocation. Therefore, the article tried to find the direction of Catholic Youth Bible Society base on the identity and role of young lay people according to Synod documents. This article composed in three part. First, tried to analyze the contemporary young people’s life. Second, examine the identity and the role of young lay people according to the Church document, especially from the Synod documents. Lastly, propose the direction of the Catholic Youth Bible Society to prepare new 50th anniversary in the future.
