디자인씽킹 기반 시뮬레이션 실습 프로그램 개발 및 효과

Development and effect of design thinking-based simulation practice program

목적 본 연구의 목적은 시뮬레이션 실습 교과목을 수강하는 졸업학년 간호대학생을 대상으로, 디자인씽킹 기반 시뮬레이션 프로그램을 개발 후 적용하여, 공감, 창의적 성향, 문제해결능력, 돌봄효능감에 미치는 효과를 검증하는 것이었다. 방법 본 연구는 학생참여형 수업인 디자인씽킹 교수법을 적용한 시뮬레이션 프로그램을 개발하고, 개발된 프로그램에 대한 효과를 입증하기 위한 단일군 시계열 전후 실험설계(one-group time-series pretest-posttest design) 연구이다. G시에 소재하는 C대학교에 재학 중인 4학년 간호대학생 41명을 대상으로 15주 동안 진행하였다. 수업 전·후 자가보고설문을 통하여 그 차이를 확인하였으며, IBM SPSS 25.0 프로그램을 사용하여 효과검증을 하였다. 가설 검증은 Repeated Measure ANOVA, Friedman test, Wilcoxon signed-rank test를 이용하여 분석하였다. 결과 디자인씽킹 수업모형을 적용한 시뮬레이션 실습 후 연구대상자의 공감 정도는 유의한 차이가 없었지만(F=0.66, p=.521), 창의적 성향(x2=11.63, p=.003), 문제해결능력(F=5.77, p=.006), 돌봄효능감의 점수변화는 유의한 차이가 있었다(F=3.18, p=.047). 따라서 시뮬레이션 실습 교과목에 디자인씽킹을 적용한다면, 문제해결력과 창의성이 증진될 것이라 예상된다. 이를 통해 돌봄 과정에서 돌봄 효능감이 향상 될 것이고 간호의 질적 향상을 불러 올 수 있을 것이라 판단된다. 결론 연구의 결과를 통하여 디자인씽킹 기반 시뮬레이션 실습 프로그램을 적용한 간호실습교육 프로그램의 효과 및 특성을 확인할 수 있었다. 이를 토대로 추후 현장에서 요구하는 지식 및 기술 등의 교육에 활용하여 실질적인 직무 수행 능력을 향상시키고, 현장 적응성 및 간호대학생의 간호실습교육에 긍정적인 영향을 주길 기대한다.

Objectives The purpose of this study was to verify the effect on empathy, creative disposition, problem-solving ability, and caring efficacy by developing and applying a design thinking-based simulation program for graduate-grade nursing students taking simulation practice courses. Methods This study was a one-group time-series pretest-posttest design study to develop a simulation program applying the design thinking teaching method, a student participatory class, and to prove the effect of the developed program. This study was conducted for 15 weeks with 41 4th-year nursing college students at C University located in G city. The difference was confirmed through self-report questionnaire before and after class, and the effectiveness was verified using IBM SPSS 25.0 program. Hypothesis verification was analyzed using Repeated Measure ANOVA, Friedman test, and Wilcoxon signed-rank test. Results There was no significant difference in the degree of empathy of the study subjects after simulation practice with the design thinking class model applied (F=0.66, p=.521), but there were significant differences in score changes in creative disposition (x2=11.63, p=.003), problem-solving ability (F=5.77, p=.006), and caring efficacy (F=3.18, p=.047). Enhancement of creativity and problem-solving ability are expected when applying design thinking to simulated practices. This in turn will increase care efficacy in the care process and ultimately result in qualitative improvement of nursing. Conclusions Through the results of the study, it was possible to confirm the effects and characteristics of the nursing practice education program to which the design thinking-based simulation practice program was applied. Based on this, it is expected that it will improve practical job performance ability by using it for education such as knowledge and skills required in the field in the future, and will have a positive impact on field adaptability and nursing students' nursing practice education.
