달고기(Zeus faber)와 민달고기(Zenopsis nebulosa)의 형태 및 골격 비교

A Comparison of Morphology and Osteology between Zeus faber and Zenopsis nebulosa

For morphological and osteological studies of Zeus faber and Zenopsis nebulosa were collected in Yeosu. The morphological characteristics between both species are body shape, body-color, and presence or absence of a black spot in the body. Z. faber had 10 dorsal fin spines, 22~24 dorsal fin rays, 13 pectoral fin rays, and Z. nebulosa had 9 dorsal fin spines, 26~27 dorsal fin rays, 13 pectoral fin rays. The taxonomic characteristics of the skeleton were the premaxillary bone, the dentary bone in the jaw bone, the difference in the height of the hypohyal in the hyoid arch, and the number of the vertebrae bones. Consequently, morphology and osteological studies between Z. faber and Z. nebulosa differed in body color and premaxillary bone, dentary bone, hypohyal, and vertebrae.
