This study was intended to investigate the effects of ego resiliency on job burnout of hotel employees and the effects of job burnout on job satisfaction. The purpose of this study is to provide implications for effective human resource management of hotel corporations. An empirical analysis based on the survey results verified statistical significance using SPSS Win 20.0 statistical package program according to the subject of the analysis and purpose of this study. According to the result of regression analysis on the effects of ego resiliency on depersonalization, it was identified that optimistic attitude and interpersonal relations make negative effect on depersonalization. According to the regression analysis on the effects of ego resiliency on emotional exhaustion, it was identified that optimistic attitude makes significant negative effect on emotional exhaustion. Regression analysis on the effects of ego resiliency on decline in a sense of accomplishment identified that confidence makes significant negative effect on a sense of accomplishment. Ego resilience can be understood as an ability to relieve exhaustion symptoms despite the high aggressiveness of customers. Given the reality of hotels where direct control of customer aggression is not so easy, it is believed that efforts will be needed to increase ego resiliency capacity of each employee at the organizational level.
