This study sought to examine the effects of hotel restaurant managers transformational leadership on the organizational effectiveness of employees through an empirical study of employees at F&B departments of luxury hotels. Data were collected from 519 employees of 17 luxury hotels in Seoul, Korea. Results suggested that ability, initiative, and intellectual stimulation are significantly related to job satisfaction, organizational effectiveness, and commitment. The effects of hotel restaurant managers transformational leadership style on organizational effectiveness appear to vary according to leadership types. An interesting finding revealed that ability and initiative are most significantly related to job satisfaction, organizational effectiveness, and commitment, whereas individualized consideration type is related to turnover intention.
