Based on the image of longevity areas in Jeju Island, author examines strategies of how to connect them to tourism resources. He argues four strategy polices: First, to be successful in “Island of Longevity” images, it is necessary to establish firmly the ‘International Free City’ and an ‘Island of Peace’. Second, new tourism programs in the longevity areas must be contrived and connected with other sightseeing resorts to enhance the image of longevity. Third, a town for the aged as one of the leading industries in Yere, Seogwipo, is suggested to build and to foster the business for the aged. Fourth, besides the image of longevity, many other creative alternatives are needed to develop our tourism industries.
