Quo vadis Transylvania? 2차 대전시기 트란실바니아 문제에 대한 헝가리와 루마니아의 방안

제1차 세계대전과 제2차 세계대전은 헝가리 역사의 가장 중요한 변곡점이었다. 1차 대전의 결과로 오스트리아-헝가리 제국의 해체와 더불어 역사적 헝가리가 소멸 되었고, 2차 대전에서 독일의 편에서 참전한 이유로 소련의 점령과 공산화의 길을 갔다. 특히 헝가리의 오랜 영토였던 트란실바니아 지역이 루마니아에 귀속됨으로서 헝가리와 루마니아의 해결되지 않은 문제로 남게 되었다. 2차 대전에서 헝가리와 손잡은 독일의 패배는 소련의 편에 선 루마니아에게 영토적 이득을 가져다 주었다. 이 글에서는 2차세계대전 중 헝가리와 루마니아가 제출한 트란실바니아 문제에 대한 논의를 살펴보았다.
