대형 조선소 내 자동화재탐지설비 종류별 오작동 사례 수집 및 시험분석을통한 비화재보 원인 분석

Analysis of Non-fire Alarm Causes using Malfunction Cases by Automatic Fire Detection Equipment Type in Large Shipyards

비화재보의 발생은 화재 신호에 대한 불신을 증가시킨다. 특히, 대형 조선소에서 발생하는 비화재보는 직원들의업무 효율을 감소시킨다. 이에 본 연구에서는 비화재보의 발생을 감소시키기 위한 방법을 도출하기 위하여 현장조사를 통해 비화재보 발생 원인을 분석하였다. 985건의 화재신호 발생 사례에 대한 데이터를 수집한 결과, 569건(58%)은 원인을 추적할 수 없는 이상 동작 및 원인불명이었다. 이를 제외하면 화기 작업 194건(20%), 수분 유입 92건(9%)이 주된 비화재보 원인을 차지하였다.

Non-fire alarms can increase the distrust of employees toward fire signals. In particular, occurrences of non-fire alarmsin large shipyards reduce employees’ work efficiency. Therefore, this study entailed an analysis of the causes of non-firealarms through field investigations to derive a method to reduce non-fire alarms. Of the collected 985 fire signaloccurrences, 569 (58%) were abnormal operations for which the causes could not be traced. Excluding these cases, 194cases of hot work (20%) and 92 cases of water inflow (9%) accounted for the leading causes of non-fire alarms.
