The purpose of this study is to identify selection attributes of slow tourism and mindfulness and to verify the influence of those factors on tourists' recommendation intention. To achieve the goal of the study, total of 400 surveys were distributed to the tourism industry workers and college students(majored in tourism) who were willing to participated in the study. The data was analyzed using the SPSS 24.0 version program. As a result, slow tourism selection attributes were classified 'functional factor', 'emotional factor', 'cultural factor', and 'natural factor'. Slow tourism selection attributes had effects on mindfulness and slow tourism selection attributes, mindfulness factors had effects on recommendation intention. The findings showed that emotional factor is more influential than functional factor. Based on these results, this study paves the way for investigating the possibility for developing slow tourism through travel systematic planning and commercialization. Implications were discussed based on the results of the study.
