In 1911, Korea became a colony of Japan, which indirectly affected Mongolians’ struggle for national freedom. This can be seen from the articles on the lives and sufferings of Koreans, which were published in the “Mongoliin Unen” newspaper and other historical sources in the early 20th century. This paper claims that Mongolian media and other materials of that time warned Mongolian public against foreign colonization in small states. Also, author examined, and analyzed articles related to the Korean independence movement of 1919.
