Mongolia’s civil service is being reformed, but unfortunately, there are challenges in the implementation. This topic considering the issues of professional, sustainable civil service, including working conditions and social security of civil servants, adherence to the principle of merit in appointing citizens to core civil servant positions, providing equal opportunities for citizens to appoint in the civil service position, and transparency. The above-mentioned issues are particularly important for ensuring the stability of the civil service, the consistent implementation of the principle of merit, and thus maintaining the continuity of the civil service.
