The Structural System of Vikalpayogaparivarto nāma ṣaṣṭamah in Saṃdhinirmocana Sūtra: Focusing on 'phags pa dgong pa nges par 'grel pa'i mod'i rnam par bshad pa

해심밀경 분별유가품의 구성 체계 고찰

8세기 후반에서 9세기의 티벳 역경가인 촉 로 루이갤챈(Cog ro Klu'i rgyal- mtshan)의 성해심밀경해설은 해심밀경의 전 장에 대한 매우 방대한 분량의 티벳본 주석서이지만 지금까지 학계에 거의 알려지지 않았다. 그는 원측의 해심밀경소의 영향을 받았지만 자신의 견해와 관심에 따라 독자적인 방식으로경을 해설하고 있다. 원측이 이 장의 지관(止觀) 수행도를 경의 서술 순서에 따라 단순하게 18단계로나누어 분석한 데 비해, 루이갤챈은 이 장의 구조를 6가지 측면으로 분석하였다. 그중 첫째 변지와 변지하지 못함과 둘째 유가 수행의 본질을 미륵장 전체의 틀로 보고, 셋째 가행인과 넷째 증득, 다섯째증득의 방편, 여섯째 수행의 불퇴실을 위한 법가안립을 경의 서술에 따라 주제별로 나누고, 이를 다시14단계로 분석함으로써 입체적인 구성 체계를 구축하였다.

This writing considers the structural system of Vikalpayogaparivarto nāma ṣaṣṭamah (Hence, VYNṢ) in Saṃdhinirmocana Sūtra (Hence, SNS) focusing on 'phags pa dgong pa nges par 'grel pa'i mod'i rnam par bshad pa (Hence, rnam bshad) by Cog ro Klu'i rgyal-mtshan, one of the great translators of Tibetan Buddhism in the mid 8th to 9th. Rnam bshad is very long and contains extensive and detail explanation of SNS, which has rarely been studied in academia in spite of having different and new interpretation from the commentary of Woncheuk. He states VYNṢ is organized into eighteen stages of śamatha and vipaśyanā while according to Klu'i rgyal-mtshan, it is organized into six aspects of the way of śamatha and vipaśyanā and fourteen stages. His explination of its structure shows dimensionalized system while that of Woncheuk is simple.
