교류분석을 통해 살펴 본 성폭력 가해자의 심리적 특성에 관한 고찰

Sexual Offender through Transactional Analysis Psychological Characteristics

본 연구는 성폭력 가해자들의 재범방지를 위해서 엄벌주의나 병리적 관점에서 개입하지 않고, 그들의 삶을 살펴보고 이해하기 위해, 문헌고찰을 통해 성폭력이 발생하는 원인, 성폭력 가해자들의 생활방식, 그리고 이들에게 공통적으로 나타나는 심리 특성을 살펴보았다. 또한 성폭력발생 원인, 성폭력 가해자들의 생활방식, 그리고 이들의 심리 특성을 Eric Berne의 교류분석의 주요개념인 자아상태, 재정의, 라포게임, 라켓감정, 의사소통, 스트로크, 인생각본, 공생으로 접근해 설명하였다. 문헌고찰을 통해 알 수 있었던 것은 정신병리적, 인지적 왜곡, 자기통제 결여, 부모와의 불안정한 애착이 성폭력의 발생 원인이 된다는 것이었다. 또한 가정이 빈곤하고 가정 내 갈등이 존재함으로 인해 성범죄가 발생하는 것으로 나타났다. 성폭력 가해자들은 반사회적인 성향, 공감능력 결핍, 낮은 자존감과 같은 생활방식을 가지고 살아가며, 성장과정에서 성적학대나 다른 폭력의 피해경험이 많고, 역기능적인 가정환경, 친밀감 부족과 같은 심리 특성이 나타나는 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 그리고 교류분석의 주요개념인 자아상태는 심리학적 관점에서 성폭력 발생원인, 반사회적 성향, 공감능력 결핍을 설명할 수 있었다. 인지적 왜곡은 라켓 감정과 라포게임으로 설명 가능했고, 의사소통은 성장과정에서 성적학대나 다른 폭력의 경험을 설명할 수 있었다. 또한 부모 애착은 스트로크로, 사회성 결함은 인생각본으로, 낮은 자존감은 의사소통과 인생각본을 통해 설명할 수 있었다. 마지막으로 역기능적인 가정환경은 공생으로 설명되었다. 이러한 결과를 통해 교류분석이 성폭력 가해자들의 교정교육 프로그램과 집단상담프로그램으로 활용될 것을 제언하였다.

This study does not involve punitivism or pathological considerations to prevent repeated crimes by sexual offenders. The study aims to understand the lives of sexual perpetrators by examined the causes of sexual violence, the lifestyle of sexual perpetrators, and the common psychological characteristics through literature. In order to examine the cause of sexual violence, the lifestyle and psychological characteristics of sexual offenders the study use Eric Berne’s Transactional Analysis: self-status, finance, rapo-game, racket emotion, communication, stroke, life script, symbiosis. Through literature review, it showed that psychopathic, cognitive distortions, lack of self-control, and unstable attachment to parents are the causes of sexual violence. Also, sexual crimes are occurred due to poverty and conflicts within the family. This study shows that the sexual offenders live in antisocial tendencies, lack of empathy, and low self-esteem. They experience many sexual abuse or other violence during their growth process, dysfunctional family environment, and lack of intimacy in psychological aspect. Ego-state as the main concept of Transactional Analysis showed as the causes of sexual violence, antisocial tendencies, and lack of empathy in a psychological aspect. Cognitive distortion can be showed as racket feeling and rapo-game, then communication as experiences of sexual abuse or other violence in the growth process. Also, parent attachment as a stroke, social defects as a life-script, and low self-esteem as a communication and a life-script. Finally, the dysfunctional family environment was described as symbiosis. Through these results, the study suggests Transactional Analysis can be applied to education program and group counseling program for sexual offenders.
