The purpose of this study is to find out the influence of Job competency of medical tourism professionals on job satisfaction and organizational commitment, and particularly how cultural distance acts as a moderating variable between job competency and job satisfaction. The data was collected nationwide from 255 medical tourism related professionals who work for hospitals, using SPSS 12.7. Results of the study is as follows. First, only knowledge and self efficacy influenced positively on job satisfaction out of various job competency factors such as perceived organizational values, knowledge, interactive service, cognitive flexibility and self efficacy. Second, job satisfaction influenced positively on organizational commitments. Third, only perception of organizational values of job competency was moderated by cultural distance in the process of verifying the influence between job competency and job satisfaction , which implies that the greater medical tourism professionals perceive the cultual distance , the higher efforts they require to have an effective management of job competency and the lower the job satisfaction is being illustrated.
