The Adaptation and Job Satisfaction of Dental Hygienists According to Their Clinical Practice Experience Satisfaction

Objectives: The aim of this study was to determine whether clinical practice experience when working as a dental hygienist affects field adaptation and job satisfaction. Methods: The research was conducted from March to June 2022, and consisted of an internet survey using the questionnaire method. In total, 201 copies were used for final analysis. Results: Higher satisfaction with clinical practice experience was associated with higher adaptability to the field and job satisfaction. Conclusions: The data confirm a need for efforts and plans to increase satisfaction with clinical practice experience to improve field adaptation and job satisfaction among dental hygienists
