초등학생이 지각한 사회적 지지와 진로성 숙도 간의 관계에서 진로정체성과 진로결정자기효능감의 이중매개효과 검증

The Dual Mediating Effect of Career Identity and Career Decision Self-Efficacy on the Relationship between Social Support and Career Maturity Perceived by Elementary School Students

이 연구의 목적은 초등학생이 지각한 사회적 지지와 진로성숙도 간의 관계에서 진로정체성과 진로결정자기효능감의 이중매개효과를 검증하는 것이다. 본 연구의 대상은 서울 소재 초등학교에 재학 중인 5학년과 6학년 학생 742명이다. 연구자료는 PROCESS Macro Model 6을 이용하여 분석하였다. 주요 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 초등학생이 지각한 사회적 지지, 진로정체성, 진로결정자기효능감, 진로성숙도 간에는 유의한 상관관계가 있었다. 둘째, 초등학생이 지각한 사회적 지지와 진로성숙도 간의 관계에서 진로정체성과 진로결정자기효능감은 부분 이중매개효과를 보였다. 이러한 결과는 초등학생의 진로성숙도를 향상시키기 위해서는 부모, 교사, 친구의 지지는 물론 진로정체성과 진로결정자기효능감 향상을 위한 다각적이고 체계적인 진로교육이 필요함을 시사한다.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the dual mediating effect of career identity and career decision self-efficacy on the relationship between social support and career maturity perceived by elementary school students. The samples of this study were 742 fifth and sixth graders in elementary schools in Seoul. The data were analyzed with PROCESS macro Model 6. The main research results are as follows: First, there were significant correlations between social support, career identity, career decision-making self-efficacy, and career maturity perceived by elementary school students. Second, in the relationship between perceived social support and career maturity by elementary school students, career identity and career decision-making self-efficacy showed a partial dual mediating effect. These results suggest that in order to improve the career maturity of elementary school students, a multifaceted and systematic career teaching and learning strategy is needed to improve the support of parents, teachers, and friends, career identity, and career decision-making self-efficacy.
