통합시뮬레이션 교육이 간호대학생의 간호지식, 임상수행능력 및 임상추론역량에 미치는 효과

Effect of Integrated Simulation Education on Nursing students’ Knowledge, Clinical performance, and Clinical reasoning competency

목적 본 연구는 가상현실프로그램과 고충실도 마네킹 기반의 시뮬레이터를 활용한 통합시뮬레이션 교육프로그램을 개발하고, 통합시뮬레이션 교육이 간호대학생의 간호지식, 임상수행능력 및 임상추론역량에 미치는 효과를 확인하기 위한 단일군 사전사후 연구이다. 방법 본 연구는 2021년 11월부터 2021년 12월까지 P시의 간호대학생 3학년 67명에게 통합시뮬레이션 교육 진행 전⋅후 간호지식, 임상수행능력과 임상추론역량을 측정하였다.자료분석은 SPSS 23.0 프로그램을 이용하여 분석하였고, 정규성검정을 만족하지 않아 비모수 검정방법인 Wilcoxon signed rank test로 분석하였다. 결과 통합시뮬레이션 교육 후 간호대학생의 간호지식(z=6.201, p<.001), 임상수행능력(z=4.999, p<.001), 임상추론역량(z=6.616, p<.001)이 유의하게 향상되었다. 결론 본 연구는 통합시뮬레이션 교육프로그램을 개발하고 적용함으로써 간호대학생의 간호지식, 임상수행능력 및 임상추론역량을 향상시킬 수 있는 교수학습전략의 기초자료로 활용할 수 있다.

Objectives This study aimed to identify the effect of Integrated simulation(virtual reality simulation with high-fidelity simulation) education on nursing students’ knowledge, clinical performance, and clinical reasoning competency. A single group pre-post quasi-experimental design was used. Methods Data were collected from November 2021 to December 2021. Nursing knowledge, clinical performance ability, and clinical reasoning competency scores were analyzed from the learning evaluation data of 67 students before and after the integrated simulation class. Data were analyzed by Wilcoxon signed rank test using IBM SPSS 23.0 since the normality test was not satisfied. Results The results indicated that the group that participated in the integrated simulation education program had significantly higher nursing knowledge (z=6.201, p<.001), clinical performance (z=4.999, p<.001) and clinical reasoning competency (z=6.616, p<.001) compared to the pre-test. Conclusions The results of this study can be used as basic data for developing educational programs that can enhance existing simulation classes and improve nursing knowledge, clinical performance, and clinical reasoning capabilities.
