보육교사의 공감능력이 교사-영유아 상호작용에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구

A Study on the Effect of Nursery Teachers' Empathy Ability on Teacher-Infant Interaction: Focusing on the Mediating Effects of Teaching Creativity and Play Teaching Efficacy

본 연구는 보육교사의 공감능력이 교수창의성과 놀이교수효능감을 매개로 교사-영유아 상호작용에 미치는 영향 관계를 살펴보고자 하였다. 이를 위해서 서울, 경기, 울산지역 어린이집에 재직 중인 보육교사455명을 대상으로 임의 표집, 설문 조사하여 이 중 총 436부를 최종분석에 사용하였다. 수집된 자료는SPSS 23과 Amos 23 프로그램을 사용하여 구조방정식 모형을 활용하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 보육교사의 공감능력, 교수창의성, 놀이교수효능감, 교사-영유아 상호작용 간의 상관관계를 분석한 결과 네 변인 간에는 통계적으로 유의미한 정적 상관관계가 있다는 것이확인되었다. 둘째, 교수창의성의 매개 효과는 완전매개 효과를 가지는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 놀이교수효능감의 매개 효과는 완전매개 효과를 가지는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구결과를 통해 보육교사의 공감능력과 교사-영유아 상호작용 간의 관계에 교수창의성과 놀이교수효능감은 긍정적인 영향을 준다는 것을확인할 수 있었다. 본 연구가 영유아를 교육하는 현장에서 보육교사와 영유아 간의 원활한 상호작용이영유아의 전인적 성장과 발달에 큰 영향을 미친다는 이론적, 실무적 시사점을 줄 것으로 기대한다.

The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between teacher-infant children's empathy and teacher's empathy through teaching creativity and play-teaching efficacy. To this end, 455 childcare teachers working in daycare centers in Seoul, Gyeonggi, and Ulsan were randomly sampled and surveyed, and a total of 436 copies were used for the final analysis. For the collected data, a structural equation model was used using SPSS 23 and Amos 23 programs. The research results are as follows. First, as a result of analyzing the correlations among child care teachers' empathy ability, teaching creativity, play teaching efficacy, and teacher-toddler interaction, it was confirmed that there was a statistically significant static correlation among the four variables. Second, the mediating effect of teaching creativity was shown to have a complete mediating effect. Third, the mediating effect of play teaching efficacy was found to have a complete mediating effect. Through the results of this study, it was confirmed that teaching creativity and play teaching efficacy had a positive effect on the relationship between childcare teachers' empathy and teacher-infant interaction. It is expected that this study will give theoretical and practical implications that the smooth interaction between childcare teachers and infants in the field of educating infants and young children has a great influence on the holistic growth and development of infants and young children.
