VR(Virtual Reality)기술과 증강현실(AR)을 적용한 미술전시 마케팅 프로세스 연구

VR Technology and A Study on The Marketing Process of Art Exhibition using Augmented Reality

현재 정보통신기술의 융합을 통한 4차 산업혁명을 주도하는 기술 중 ‘VR’과 ‘AR’이 세계 이목을 받고 있다. 가상현실과 증강현실은 현재 지속적 발전과 다양한 분야로의 확산 및 적용되고 있는데, 기존의 미술전시 마케팅에두 기술이 적용되는 개혁이 필요하다. 왜냐하면 현대인들은 두 기술을 미술전시 공간에 접목시켜 공간에 제약받지 않고 미술공간을 체험하거나 정보를 얻을 수 있는 시대에 살고 있기 때문이다. 본 논문에서는 VR과 AR이라는 새로운 기술이 마케팅에 적용된 성공한 사례들을 분석하고, 이러한 첨단기술들이 21세기에 미술전시 마케팅으로도 활용될 수 있는 방법을 모색하고자 하였으며, 기존 미술관에 새로운 기술을 적용시키는 것이 많은 시행착오가 필요하므로 이에 대한 솔루션을 제공하였다. 끝으로 본 연구가 예술과 공학의 융합 및 발전에 기여할 수있기를 기대한다.

The time and space of the art exhibition existed for a small number of experts and holders, but since the 20th century the educational responsibility for the public has been emphasized and turned into an aesthetic and educational space for the public. Because, in the 21st century, interactive communication has become commonplace through the Internet and SNS. According to the above trends, the attitude and method of viewing the artworks in the time and space of the art exhibition changes and the space for viewing the artworks changes. Currently, 'VR' and 'AR' among the technologies that lead the fourth industrial revolution through the convergence of information and communication technologies are receiving global attention. Virtual reality and augmented reality are currently being developed and applied to various fields, and reforms are needed to apply the two technologies to existing art exhibition marketing. This is because modern people are living in an age where they can experience art space or get information without constraining space by combining the two technologies into the exhibition space. In this paper, we analyze the successful cases of VR and AR applied to marketing, and tried to find ways to utilize these advanced technologies as marketing for art exhibition in the 21st century. We needed a lot of trial and error to provide a solution. Finally, we look forward to seeing this study contribute to the fusion and development of art and engineering.
