만화 <바닷마을 다이어리>의 정서적 표현 분석

Analysis on the Emotional Expression of the Comics <Our Little Sister>

이 글은 2015년 개봉한 영화 <바닷마을 다이어리>의 원작인 만화 <바닷마을 다이어리>의 정서적 표현을분석한다. 사실적, 일상적 정서표현에 뛰어난 고레에다히로카즈 감독이 선택한 요시다 아키미 작의 이 만화는 등장인물들의 심리묘사가 탁월한 것으로 알려져 있다. 요시다 아키미가 바라보는 세계는 이항적 구분을 지양한다. 선과 악, 착한 사람과 악당의 구분이 명확하지 않고 비극적인 상황에서도 정서가 비극적이지 않으며 코믹성이 발견되며 복합적인 감정의 세계가 펼쳐진다. 만화 <바닷마을 다이어리>의 복합적이고 세밀한 정서적 표현이 어떤 미학적 장치들을 통해서 가능했는지를 분석하며 동시에 만화매체가 갖는 내적, 심리적 표현물로서의 가능성을 탐구한다.

This paper aims to analyze the aspect of the emotional expression in the comics <Our Little sister>, the original work of the film <Our Little sister>, first shown in the year 2015. The comics is well known for its excellence of the psychological description of the characters, and for that reason also adopted by the film director Koreeda Hirokazu, famous for his riches of ability in the emotional expression in so-called real life, and daily life. Yoshida Akimi's world is sublated of binary opposition. There are no apparent boundaries between Good and Evil, and a good man and a bad man in his world. The emotion evoked in the most tragic scenes seems not that much sad, many times mingled even with the humor, This paper tries to find out what aesthetic devices are employed to make the multiple emotional expression possible in a detailed and elaborate way, and also exploring how far the comics medium can go for the expression of psychological inside.
