가리봉 일대 지역 활성화를 위한 복합문화공간 형성 방안 연구- 도쿄 2K540 AKI-OKA ARTISAN (니케-고욘마루) 성공사례를 중심으로

급격한 산업화에 따른 도시 발달로 인해 도시 외곽 지역의 기능은 팽창하여 신도시로서 인구밀도가 높아졌지만, 기존의 도심 역할을 했던 도시는 다양한 이유로 인구가 빠져나가 소규모 도시로 전락하였다. 이런 노후화된 도시들은 지역-도시민들 사이에 사회적, 경제적 마찰을 겪고 있으며, 문제의 심각성을 인식한 정부에서는 도시재생사업 전략중 하나로 복합문화공간사업을 구상 중에 있다. 복합문화공간은 지역민들 간의 문화 교류 활동을 통해 소통기능을 넓혀, 지역의 침체된 환경을 환기시키고 지역에 대한 인식 개선 역할을 한다. 더불어 주변도시 환경 조성을 비롯한 다양한 사회적 외부효과를 촉진시켜 지역의 문화적 거점을 형성한다. 본 연구는 국내·외 복합문화공간에 성공한 사례들을 분석하고 도시재생지역으로 선정된 곳 중 하나인 ‘가리봉 지구’ 를 분석모델로 지정하여 앞으로의 국내 복합문화공간의 방향과분석모델에 특화된 복합문화공간의 형태를 제시하고자한다.
