This thesis presupposes that a literary approach is needed for truth discourse in the era of post-truth. In spite of fake news and distortion, we looked at the methods of conveying the truth of Beyond Death and Beyond the Darkness of Age, a novel form of Spring Day, and A Boy Is Coming, a non-fiction dealing with the May 18th, which received fair evaluation despite fake news and distortion. Literature that has narratives and deals with emotions and emotions that move the human heart is a complete genre that can return to the truth in the post-truth era where fake news is prevalent. If non-fictional discourse forms explore the meaning and expression of the event in the category of literature, and literature also conveys the truth through literary devices and various formal aesthetic expressions, it can be more effective for readers to accept it. The truth of our time can be communicated when the act of reconstructing a huge historical event into a literary discourse is accompanied by the legitimacy itself. Literature has a humanistic status in that it can embrace universal human intelligence and sensibility to imagine and draw a better world. And because its status is organic and inseparable from our lives, it has dignity that is neither high nor low. If the metaphorical language system replaces communication beyond objective information and presents a solution to ethical problems caused by fictionization, then the truth discourse in literature can be an alternative to the post-truth era.
