In this paper, the task-teach-task(TTT) model was applied to develop the textbook for intermediate Korean learners. The principle of the textbook composition was that the learner is the subject in a communication situation to practice the 'use' of real language. In addition, grammar and expression become secondary knowledge and tools for task performance. The textbook will make learners feel the need for grammar and expression in the context of the actual use of language, thereby paying attention to language forms. It develops an ability to construct the discourse and evaluate themselves metacognitively. The development of a teaching material unit was attempted using these principles. This study is meaningful because it examined how the TTT model, which has not been used as an actual class model compared to the PPP(presentation-practice-production) model, can be implemented in class.
