비트겐슈타인의 사고는 현대 철학에 큰 영향을 주었다. 언어와 사고의 관계에 대한 그의 관점은수학교육학 연구자들의 논의에서 나타나고 있으며, 사회적 구성주의에서는 주요한 근거 이론으로 사용되고 있다. 그러나 수학에 대한 그의 사고는 깊이 있게 소개되거나 논의되지 못하였다. 이 논문에서는 '인간의 능동적인 활동과 실천의 결과물로서의 수학'이라는 관점에서 수학에 대한 비트겐슈타인의 입장을 분석하고자 한다.
Wittgenstein have a big influence on modern philosophy. His perspective on language and thought appears in the discussions between mathematics education researchers, and are used as one of the basic viewpoints in the 'Social Constructivism'. But his thought on mathematics has not been introduced or discussed fully in mathematics education. In this paper, I analyze Wittgenstein's thought on mathematics in the viewpoint of 'mathematics as a result of human action and practice'.
