Exploring the Possibility of Online Theater Performance through the TOE Framework

본 연구는 연극을 비대면으로 공연하는 것에 대한 가능성을 탐구한 것이다. 심층인터뷰 연구 결과 비대면 공연이 필요하고 현재 기술로도 가능하다고 판단하였다. 물리적으로 이동이 힘든 사람들에게는 유용한 방법이 될 수 있다. 하지만 현장감을 제공하지 못하는 한계를 지적하였다. 입체적으로 관람할 수 있는 현장 공연과의 차이를 문제로 지적하였다. 홀로그램과 같은 기술이 도움이 되지만 경제적인 문제로불가능하다고 판단하였다. 정부나 기업으로부터 지원이 절대적으로 필요하다고 생각하였다. 대부분의 응답자들이 수익이 보장되면 비대면 온라인 공연을 제작하고 참여할 것이라고 응답하였다. 연극계가 전통을 중요시하고 변화에 거부감을 보이기는 하지만 장기적으로 새로운 기술 도입은 필수적이라고 생각하고 있었다. 외부 지원과 함께 연극만을 위한 플랫폼 도입도 필요하다고 생각하고 있었다.

This study explores the possibility of performing a play non-face-to-face. As a result of the in-depth interview study, non-face-to-face performances were necessary and online performance is possible even with the current technology. It can be a useful method for people who have physical mobility difficulties. However, they pointed out the lack of a sense of realism. The difference from on-site performances was pointed out as a problem. The technology of hologram is necessary which was impossible due to economic problems. Respondents said the need of the government or business support. Most respondents responded that they would do if profits were guaranteed. Although the theatrical world values tradition and shows resistance to change, they thought that introducing new technology was essential in the long run. Along with external support, they thought it was necessary to introduce a platform exclusively for plays.
