한국어 학습용 한자성어 애플리케이션 개발을 위한 선행 연구

A Study on the Development of Chinese Character Idioms Application for Korean Language Learning

한자성어는 한국 사람들의 삶의 지혜와 사고방식을 이해할 수 있을 뿐만아니라 효과적인 의사소통에 유용하게 쓰이는 다양한 가치를 지닌다. 한국어 학습자가 원활하고 자연스러운 의사소통을 하려면 언어의 사전적 의미나문장의 구조적 의미를 이해할 뿐만 아니라 문화적 배경을 담는 한자성어를상황에 맞게 활용할 수 있는 능력을 갖추어야 한다. 따라서 한자성어를 체계적으로 배울 있는 교재나 애플리케이션은 많으면 많을수록 도움이 될 것이다. 한자성어는 한국어의 중고급 수준의 어휘에 포함된다. 학습자들이 자기주도적으로 언제 어디서든 한자성어를 학습할 수 있도록 하기 위해서는 모바일 기반의 학습용 한자성어 애플리케이션을 개발하는 것이 필요하다. 따라서 본고에서는 한자성어 애플리케이션 개발의 선행 연구로서 우선학습자의 요구 조사 분석 및 기존 한자성어 애플리케이션을 분석하였다. 한국어 학습자를 대상으로 설문 조사를 통해 응답자들의 다수가 혼자서한자성어 학습의 필요성은 물론 한자성어 애플리케이션 개발에 대한 적극적인 관심과 학습 의지를 보였다. 또한 한자성어 애플리케이션에 적용할 주요기능, 학습 정보의 내용 및 구조, 평가 유형의 구성에 있어 사용자 요구를 반드시 반영하여 설계해야 한다. 또한 시중에 인기있는 한자성어 애플리케이션을 분석하여 한국어 학습을위한 한자성어 애플리케이션 개발에 도움이 될 수 있도록 문제점과 시사점을 제시하였다. 본 연구가 한국어 교육에 조금이나마 도움이 되기를 바라며 실제 애플리케이션 설계 및 구현은 다음 과제로 남긴다.

Not only can Chinese character idioms understand the wisdom and mindset of Korean people but they also have various values that are useful for effective communication. In order for Korean learners to communicate smoothly and naturally they must not only understand the dictionary meaning of language or the structural meaning of sentences but also have the ability to use Chinese character idioms that contain cultural backgrounds according to the situation. Therefore the more textbooks or applications that can systematically learn Chinese characters will be helpful. Chinese character idioms are included in middle and high-level vocabulary in Korean. It is necessary to develop a mobile-based Chinese character language application in order to allow learners to learn Chinese character language anytime and anywhere. Therefore in this paper as a preceding study in the development of Chinese character language applications first of all, the needs of learners and the existing Chinese character language applications were analyzed. Through a survey of Korean learners many of the respondents showed an active interest and willingness to learn Chinese character idioms as well as the need to learn Chinese character idioms alone. It should also be designed to reflect user needs in the composition of key features content and structure of learning information and evaluation types to be applied to Chinese character idioms applications. In addition problems and implications were presented to help develop Chinese character idioms applications for Korean learning by analyzing popular Chinese character language applications on the market. We hope that this study will help Korean language education a little and designing and implementing actual applications will remain as the next task.
