The teacher-training and teaching enhancement is a bottleneck for the international education of Chinese as a second Langauge. This paper analyzes the status quo of the teachers in different schools and institutions in the United States of America as an example and proposes a set of suggestions and strategies for the training and promotion of qualified teachers for the overseas. The author claims that a stable, systemic and comprehensive machanism for the teacher-training should be established to meet the various demands in different countries, different schools and different students. Only through this, can the internationl education of Chinese as a second language be achieved
