In the 1980s-1990s, the poems of Xi Murong shocked Mainland China and Hong Kong and Taiwan. She constantly created new record of modern poetry sales after the publishing of the first collection of poems, and a million issue volume of her collection of poems created the miracle in the poetry dissemination field. Few poets can be equal to her. Xi Murong mainly represented the love, homesickness and understanding of life in her poems. Her early works focus on the love poetry; Lots of her middle and later works express infinite longing and yearning as well as “nostalgia” to Mongolia grassland hometown. Besides, she also created many poems full of understanding of life in those works. So Xi Murong's poem theme is inquired from real and pure love, real and deep homesickness, real and wise understanding of life to feel the infinite charm of Xi Murong's poems which creates miracle in poetry dissemination field.
