『論語』의 제시주어 고찰

The subjects of “LunYu(論語)” have shown several kinds. Based on the meaning between subject-predicate, subjects are divided into four categories such as agentive, recipient, existential, topic subjects. Agentive subjects are agents of behaviour or action; recipient subjects are receivers of action; existential subjects are being that will be existing or perishing; topic subjects are being commented. According to part of speech and grammatical construction, we can classify as nouns and noun phrases, pronouns, adjectives and adjective phrases, verbs and verb phrases, ‘zhe(者)’ phrases, clauses. Occasionally some onomatopoeia and prepositional constructions can be subjects too.
