The structure of “V+着(zhe)” in Wenzhou dialect is a grammar composition related to V, which works as a supplement to the meaning of verbs. It has the distinction between stress and light. Also, the functions and meaning varies, which represent V-RC “着” and complement“着” respectively. The origin of them is from the verbs “著” or preposition “著” of the Jin dynasty and Nan-Bei Dynasties (about 265-589 BC). Combining several grammar phenomena of the ancient codes and records from the ancient times to medieval period and Wenzhou dialect, we can prove that the trend of the changing of some function words are likely to be different from the Mandarin. However, the development of “V-RC–complement” in the Mandarin still influenced that trend. The major tendency of simultaneous evolution in Chinese language has a strong influence on the d evelopment of the component part in the dialect grammar.
