The outline of the thesis: “Ideas” and “image” contain rich connotation in traditional Chinese literary criticism. Taking the kink of “idea” and “image” expressed in new poems written by Xiaoxiao as point of penetration, this thesis highlights and illustrates the relationship between “idea” and “image”. On the one hand, a being is merged with his surroundings, making it difficult to distinguish which is the sole. On the other hand, a being is integrated into his surroundings, but remains independent. The picture shown by the kink is clear but uncertain, united but is not a unity. The seemingly disorder state of “idea” and “image”, and their seemingly reluctant connection are actually the free writing of the author: an echo to and interaction with breath of life. It is creation of higher aesthetic value.
