When we learn foreign language, we generally understand it based on Korean which is our native language. Although the knowledge of our first language has positive aspects, but native language interference could become an obstacle for learning second language. Especially, when we blindly translate the verb of native language into second language, it could be a wrong sentence. Therefore, we claim that when Korean learn Chinese, it is necessary for them to distinguish basic meaning from expanded meaning. When Korean verb ‘gada’ means basic meaning, it correspond to Chinese verb ‘qu’. But when Korean verb ‘gada’ means expanded meaning, it hardly correspond to Chinese verb ‘qu’. In this case, we should find out the verb that means expanded meaning of ‘gada’, and then we should use Chinese verb which correspond to that meaning. Through this, we can more effectively learn Chinese and we can reduce mistakes. This method also makes learners to improve the ability of finding out problems and solving that problems.
