蒙古语词语的计量语言学研究

We investigate to five types of Mongolian texts to explore the quantitative properties of Mongolian words. The dominant approach applied in the present paper is quantitative — we look forward to some quantitative properties of Mongolian words such as ranks, frequencies, probabilities, etc. The quantitative parameters selected here including high frequency words, vocabulary richness, etc., while the statistic approaches are regression analysis, and so on. The results of the investigation say that, 1) high frequency words can effectively reflect the theme of the text content. 2) The degree of vocabulary richness in Mongolian poetry is the best, the degree of vocabulary richness in Mongolian popular science and news commentary are significantly lower than that of other texts. 3) According to the word frequency distribution, poetry and prose are under tight control of the writers. This study reveals the effectiveness of quantitative properties in Mongolian research, especially in the mining language characteristics and distinguishing text styles.
