‘역량 함양을 위한 교육과정’으로서 2022 개정 국어과 교육과정 문학 영역의 점검

Review of the Literature Area of the 2022 Revised Korean Language Curriculum as a ‘Curriculum for Cultivation of Competency’

목적: 이 연구의 목적은 2022 개정 국어과 교육과정 공통 교육과정의 문학 영역이 역량 함양 교육과정으로서 보이는 특징을 검토하는 데 있다. 방법: 우선, 역량 및 역량 교육과정에 대한 논의를 종합하여 역량 교육과정의 특징으로 총체성, 수행성 및 반성적 능력, 맥락성, 계속성 등 4가지를 도출하였다. 다음으로, 역량 교육과정의 4가지 특징을 기준으로 2022 개정 국어과 교육과정의 특성을 2015 개정 국어과 교육과정의 문학 영역과 비교하는 한편 2022 개정 국어과 교육과정의 문학 외 영역을 비교·분석하였다. 결과: 2022 개정 교육과정 문학 영역은 2015 개정 교육과정 문학 영역에 비해 핵심 아이디어, 내용 체계 범주 내 내용요소의 선정과 배열, 성취기준의 변화 등의 측면에서 전반적으로 역량 교육과정으로서의 속성을 더욱 정교하게 갖추고 있는 것을 확인하였다. 결론: 2022 개정 교육과정 문학 영역이 역량 교육과정으로서의 속성을 구체적으로 확보하고 있음을 확인하였다. 이후 선택중심 교육과정 중 문학 관련 과목에 대한 점검이 필요하다. 또한 교육과정 문서에 사용된 문학교육 개념어의 의미를 논의하여 교육과정 실행의 제 국면에 혼란이 없도록 안내할 필요가 있다.

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to review the characteristics of the literary domain included in the 2022 revised Korean language curriculum as a competency development curriculum. Methods: In order to accomplish this research purpose, the following method was used. First, by synthesizing the discussions on competency and competency curriculum, totality, performative and reflective ability, contextuality, and continuity were derived as characteristics of the competency curriculum. Second, the literary domain of the 2022 revision Korean language curriculum, the literary domain of the 2015 revision Korean language curriculum, and the non-literary domain of the 2022 revision Korean language curriculum were compared and analyzed. Results: It was confirmed that the 2022 revised curriculum has more sophisticated attributes as a competency curriculum compared to the 2015 curriculum. Conclusion: It was confirmed that the literature area of the 2022 revised curriculum specifically secured the attributes as a competency curriculum. Afterwards, it is necessary to examine literature-related subjects in the selection-centered curriculum as a competency curriculum. In addition, it is necessary to discuss the meaning of the literary education concept used in the curriculum document to guide the implementation of the curriculum so that there is no confusion.
