K-MOOC 강좌의 ‘효율성’과 ‘이수율’ 제고를 위한 제언

Recommendations for Enhancing the ‘Efficiency’ and ‘Sufficiency’ of K-MOOC Courses: Focusing on the Case of Linkage with ‘University Liberal Arts Class(Chinese Character)

이 글은 교육환경의 변화에 따라 세계 대학들이 개발⋅운영에 참여하고 있는 ‘MOOC(Massive Open Online Course)’와 우리나라 K-MOOC에 관한 개괄적인 현황, 그리고 필자가 개발한 K-MOOC 운영 사례를 중심으로 작성된 것이다. 따라서 개인적사례에 의해 구성된 것이니만큼, 일반화시킬 수 있는 이론이나 정설은 아니다. K-MOOC는 해외 MOOC보다 후발 주자이나, 국가평생교육진흥원이라는 국가 기관이주도⋅운영하면서 괄목할 만한 성과를 올리고 있다. 이러한 과정에서 필자는 K-MOOC 가 우리나라 고등교육(대학⋅대학원) 현장에서 어떤 방향성과 역할을 지향해야 하는가를 고민하였다. 이에 본고에서는 첫째, K-MOOC 강좌를 개발하는 주체 - 교수자, 대학등의 기관 - 가 지향해야 할 방향성, 둘째, 실제 강좌를 개발할 때 주별(週別) 학습목표와 유닛(차시)을 설계하는 방법, 셋째, K-MOOC가 온라인(비대면) 수업임을 감안, 교수자와 학습자 간의 상호작용 강화를 위한 전략, 넷째, K-MOOC를 효율성과 이수율제고를 위한 방안, 끝으로 K-MOOC가 이제는 양적 확산에서 질적 향상으로 변모할수 있는 도전적 제언 등을 중점적으로 다루었다.

This article is written focusing on the “Massive Open Online Course (MOOC)” in which universities around the world are participating in development and operation according to changes in the educational environment, the general status of Korea's K-MOOC, and the K-MOOC operation case developed by me. Therefore, as it is constructed by personal examples, it is not a generalizable theory or theory. K-MOOC started later than MOOCs in other countries, but it is achieving brilliant results as the government agencies of the country take the lead. In this process, I considered what direction and role K-MOOC should aim for in the field of higher education (university and graduate school) in Korea. Therefore First, the direction of the K-MOOC course developers, second, how to design weekly learning goals and units when developing actual courses, third, strategies to strengthen the interaction between instructors and learners, and fourth, quantitatively improve K-MOOC's completion rate.
