초등교사의 수학 교수 내용 전문성 향상 연수 효과

The Effect of Mathematics Contents Professional Development Programme for Elementary School Teacher

본 연구는 초등학교 교원의 수학 교수 내용 전문성 향상을 목적으로 교사 연수 프로그램을 설계ㆍ운영하고 그 결과를 분석하였다. 구체적으로, 초등학교 1~2학년의 수학 영역별ㆍ단원별 핵심 내용과 수학 교과 역량 함양 방안을 중심으로 한 기본 과정과 교수-학습 과정에서 학생들이 어려워하는 개념이나 자주 발생하는 오개념에 대한 토론과 이에 대한 개선 방안을 논의하고 산출하는 심화 과정을 설계하고 초등학교 교원 474명을 대상으로 연수를 실시하였다. 연수 결과, 연수 참여 교원들은 수학 PCK에 대한 자기 인식이 향상되었고 초등학교 수학 수업에 대한 우수한 개선 방안을 산출하였다. 또한, 연수를 통하여 참여자들의 수학 수업과 평가에 대한 태도가 변화하였고, 향후 전문성 개발에 대한 지속 의지를 나타내었다. 이와 같은 초등 교원 수학 PCK 향상 프로그램 운영 결과 분석에 기초한 논의로부터 몇 가지 시사점을 도출하였다. 첫째, 초등 교원의 PCK 향상을 위한 연수를 확대 추진할 필요가 있다. 둘째, 본 연수 프로그램을 교사와 전문가와의 협력을 강화한 프로그램으로 확대하여 운영할 수 있다. 셋째, 교사별 맞춤형 연수 프로그램의 제공이 필요하다.

In this study, a teacher training program was designed and analyzed for the purpose of improving the mathematics content knowledge expertise of elementary school teachers. Specifically, the basic program was focused on core contents of domains of the 1st~2nd grade of elementary school mathematics and on how to improve. In intermediate program was about discussion and progressive production on issues in teaching and learning where students' misconceptions or abstractions occur. We conducted basic and intermediate training programs for 474 elementary school teachers. As a result of the training, the participants improved their self-awareness about the specialization of mathematics content and produced excellent improvement method of elementary school math classes. In addition, participants' attitudes toward mathematics lessons and evaluations have changed through training, and they have expressed their will to develop professionalism in the future. Some implications were derived from the discussion based on the analysis of the results of the operation of these primary teachers' math content enhancement programs. First, we need to expand and push for training to improve the speciality of elementary teachers' mathematics content knowledge. Second, we can expand and operate this training program into a program that has strengthened cooperation with teachers and experts. Third, it is necessary to provide customized training programs for each teacher.
