A study on the effects of demographic factors on hotel selection process

The purpose of this study is to determine the factors that affect the hotel selection process and to find out whether these factors differ depending on demographic variables. For this purpose, a field study was carried out with the participation of individuals residing in the city of Istanbul. Four hundred persons participated in the survey that was carried out under the study. As a result, it was found that while factors affecting the hotel selection process changed according to gender and age of the participants, they did not differ according to level of education and household income. Future recommendations were made in accordance with the findings.
