본 연구는 서울시민의 공공 가사지원서비스 이용 의향 및 공공 가사지원서비스 이용 의향 관련 요인을 살펴보는것을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해 만 20세-64세 서울시민 1,703명을 대상으로 실시한 온라인 조사 자료를 분석에활용하였다. 분석은 기술통계, 카이제곱검증, 이항로지스틱 회귀분석을 이용하였으며, 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 민간 가사서비스 이용 경험을 살펴본 결과, 유자녀 가족일경우, 자녀의 연령이 12세 이하일 경우, 맞벌이인경우, 사회경제적 지위가 높을수록 민간 가사서비스를 이용한 경험이 있었다. 둘째, 조사 대상자의 58.4%가공공 가사지원서비스를 이용할 의향이 있었다. 셋째, 유자녀 가족의 공공 가사지원서비스 이용 의향 관련 요인을살펴본 결과, 12세 이하 자녀가 있는 경우, 사회경제적 지위가 높을수록, 맞벌이인 경우, 시간부족감을 높게경험할수록, 민간 가사지원서비스 이용 경험이 있는 경우에 공공 가사지원서비스 이용 의향이 높아지는 것으로나타났다. 이러한 결과는 맞벌이 및 초등학생 이하 자녀를 둔 가족의 공공 가사지원서비스 이용 의향이 높으나, 가사노동 부담이 높은 집단 중 사회경제적 지위가 낮은 집단에 대한 서비스 접근성 제고가 필요함을 시사한다.
This study explored Seoul citizens’ intention to use housekeeping services provided by the government and the factors influencing that intention. Using online survey data of 1,703 adults aged 20 to 64 years in Seoul, descriptive statistics, chi-square tests, and binomial logistic regression were conducted. The results were as follows: First, families with children, children under the age of 12, dual-income families, and families with a higher level of subjective socioeconomic status were more likely to use private housekeeping services. Second, 58.4% of participants had the intention to use housekeeping services provided by the government. Third, factors such as experience using private housekeeping services, having children under the age of 12, dual-income families, experience in time constraints, and higher socioeconomic status were found to be associated with higher odds of intention to use government-provided housekeeping services among families with children. These findings suggest that policy support is warranted to help families with a lower socioeconomic status.
