The purpose of this study is to identify the current state of Korean education and to classify its fields of contents research. This study also analyses the previous research and curriculums, and suggests the research programs for further development of contents research. This research can be applied to construction of textbooks and instructer training. In addition, it provides a solid background for development of effective teaching and learning methods. Along with an academic exchange between related fields of study, Korean contents research can contribute to establishment of new academic theory and its applications.
