The aim of this study is to examine a appropriate indicating way of grammatical elements in materials of Korean language education. There has usually been an interest in the meaning and function of grammatical elements in Korean language education. However we have let slide how to indicate grammatical elements even though this is a basic and very important in teaching Korean grammars. In actual case through the investigation of materials of Korean language education we can confirm those nonstandard indicating of grammatical elements in and it can make learners feel more difficult to learn Korean. This study aims to analyze some grammatical elements that are expressed in different way depends on the condition of place like -이/가, -는데/은데, -아요/어요/여요. The results of the study are as follows: First, there was a big relation between the type of the indicating way of grammatical elements and the similarity of expression forms of grammatical elements. Second, there was another big relation between the arrangement in grammatical elements and the choosing conditions. Third, there was a little lack of internal consistency in using marks(-,( ),/) and perception for indicating of grammatical elements. Fourth, it is the Korean text books that we must be careful when we indicate grammatical elements. This study assists us to have a chance to consider about the indicating way of grammatical elements that has not been our concern and to appreciate the need for further study.
