A Comparative Study on Sequential Connective Ending ‘-go’ and ‘-eoseo’

The purpose of this paper is to examine a verb type, a sentence pattern and a common constituent of conjoined sentences in which ‘-go’ and ‘-eoseo’ are used. In chapter 3, we examined a verb type of conjoined sentences in which ‘-go’ and ‘-eoseo’ are used. Transitive verbs are used most frequently in preceding clauses and succeeding clauses of ‘-go’ and ‘-eoseo’. In chapter 4, we examined a sentence pattern of conjoined sentences in which ‘-go’ and ‘-eoseo’ are used. [NP-ga NP-leul V] pattern is used most frequently in preceding clauses and succeeding clauses of ‘-go’ and ‘-eoseo’. In chapter 5, we examined a common constituent of conjoined sentences in which ‘-go’ and ‘-eoseo’ are used. In chapter 6, the conclusion and limitations of this paper are mentioned.
