일본대학의 한국어 교재 개발을 위한 기초조사

A fundamental Research for Developing Korean Language Textbooks in Japanese Universities

Recently, Korean language learners have been increasing year by year in Japanese universities. This brought about the diversity of level, purpose and contents of learning, and agitates for developing new textbooks which meets needs of learners and teachers. This study is based on an interview & questionnaires surveys on 20 students, 138 students and 31 teachers in Japanese universities. The purpose of this study is to examine and analyze their satisfaction and requests about Korean language textbooks in order to develop a desirable textbook which meets their demands. The result of this analysis indicates that students' and teacher's opinions on textbooks should be reflected and they desire textbooks and audio-visual materials which are considered visual function, learners' native languages, status and preferences as college students. In addition, more studies on Korean language education among teachers are greatly needed and their results should be incorporated in making textbooks. To achieve this, we suggest college teachers' network should be established in Japan for the institutional and/or governmental support, and all parties of Korea and Japan should cooperate in developing teaching materials.
