프랑스 대학에서의 한국어 교재 개선 방안

Studies in ‘Korean 1’, ‘Integrated Korean’ to Improve the Way of Teaching Korean Based on a Case in French Universities

Until now, there has been little study, if any, in teaching Korean as a foreign language in French-speaking countries compared to relevant studies in the English, Chinese or Japanese-speaking areas. Against this backdrop, two Korean teaching materials, namely ‘Korean 1’, ‘Integrated Korean Beginning 1’, have been selected to analyze their merits and defects when actually used in the classroom where students have chosen Korean as their first or second foreign language in their major. The objective of this research consists in developing more favorable teaching materials, their composition, learning activities and other teaching environment in teaching and learning Korean as a foreign language in France. In addition, students’ opinions on teaching materials have also been reflected in proposing some improvements to contribute to developing more effective measures in teaching the Korean language.
