Studies on the method of Korean culture education through poetry are mostly limited to poems before the Independence of Korea and the goal is also limited to understand emotions of Korean people and learn expressions of higher level. So this paper deals with poems from 1960's to 1980's and the goal of this paper is to understand the politics and society of Korea of those periods. This paper also examines the concept and contents of culture and make clear the significance of Korean culture education through poetry to present the specific method of Korean culture education through poetry. The specific method presented by this paper will be task-based, process-based and learner-centered one. And further, this paper proposes lists of poems applicable in Korean language education practice.
