This study aims to suggest effective teaching methods of Korean grammar to advanced Korean learners. First of all, the aims of grammar teaching for advanced Korean learners have been reviewed and, secondly, a model of how to structure grammatical contents in an advanced Korean textbook is suggested. It is believed that a categoricaloriented grammar teaching helps advanced learners organically acquire a second language grammar, so a model of how to structure grammatical contents based on categories of an advanced Korean textbook has been presented. Specifically, the procedures and results of how to select grammatical elements and categories for the textbook have been stated. Lastly, to help in the success of categorical learning, examples of how to adapt categorical learning for a class are presented.
