This research discusses grammatical terms being used in Korean language teaching materials and grammar books for foreign learners. Grammatical terms in Korean language education were slightly different from traditional grammatical terms being used in school grammar for native speakers by this time, and occasionally Korean teaching materials differ from each other. In order to prevent the confusion between teachers and learners, standard grammatical terms of the Korean language teaching materials are needed. The research has analyzed the problems of grammatical terms in the existing Korean language textbooks, and shows its grammar standards and methods. In particular, it places complex constructions under the category, which are among the presented study of grammar in the Korean language education. It also presents a device to reflect in grammar terms.
