In this paper, we examined the distinctive features of the short-term Korean language courses and the learners for them so that we may suggest the Project-Based Korean Language Learning for them. Language is a tool of communication reflecting the user's specific way of thinking, experience, and culture. The learners are in visit to Korea for about 1 month to experience Korea, or Korean culture as well as to learn Korean language. They are more motivated, active, and committed than in usual situation. The Project-Based Korean Language Learning is designed based on the needs and interest of the learners, conducted and led by them, and evaluated not only by product but also by process. More and deeper researches and studies on the short-term Korean language course is expected to follow this suggestion.
