한국어 오류 판정과 분류 방법에 관한 연구

A Study on Error Determination Standard and Classification in Korean Education

This paper was designed for developing the methological frame of research in the field of error in learning Korean. It was designed in such manner because the categorization of the subject matter must be for the “error in learning the language by the students”, rather than the “error that is commonly made in normal language use” as the primary viewpoint when considering the method of teaching. The error determination standard begins with raw data input. The research material for the error studies should be analyzed with the whole texts as well as the erroneous texts for the errors to be accurately measured. In the analysis, the sub-categories for specific error fields must be built depending on the purpose of research and the number of occurrence and errors should be confirmed. Before doing so, the decision made by the teacher in determining the errors apart from mistakes os critical. Next, the error texts should be revised to form the correct texts and this process is better done when people work together as a team rather than an individual. The sub-specific categorization of the errors must be determined and divided again by the basis of the problem and the end results. These two specific subject matters must be looked into when sub-dividing the sub-categories. 1. For basis categorization, divide them into the errors of native language transfer, target language transfer, and curriculum. 2. For end results categorization, the errors must be divided into grammatical contents errors and incidental errors. Only when the error analysis are completed with above mentioned standards can it be reflected for professors use. It seems important that a research be done to see how the Interlanguage of Korean learners represents itself through the error analysis according to the research data provided by above method.
